INEQUALITIES AND DISPARITY OF NPP.
Dear Chairman Ntim,
Let me first of all congratulate you on your recent victory as chairman of our great Party. It was late in coming but the victory was sweet.
You have come in at a time that the NPP is at crossroads in the face of a critical election in about 2 years' time and you have to ensure victory in both the Parliamentary and Presidential elections for this Party to print your name on gold in the records of this Party taking into account where you started from.
We are going about complaining that NDC is using the current economic dispensation to play cheap politics. But what else do you expect them to do? They are desperate for power through the ballot box and they are playing to the gallery. Every voter has only one vote and so they must gather as many votes as possible.
For all you know, my people in the village accept the high cost of lorry fares, the deplorable state of our roads and the high cost of food items as a mark of incompetence. And the NDC is using that seriously against us.
This Russia-Ukraine war means nothing to my people if we sit in the comfort of our homes and behave like the proverbial Ostrich thinking that all is well. All is not well, Sir.
Our grassroots are disenchanted, NABCO trainees are disillusioned, Forestry workers are frustrated and our Communication Team management are in the big towns just jumping from one Radio/TV Station to another riding expensive cars and eating huge meals. Patriotism had died, commitment is lost and honesty had vanished.
Meanwhile the Party must survive by rekindling the interest and spirit which existed within members just before the 2016 historic elections. That is a fact, Sir.
For now, "Breaking the 8" isn't a child play.
The lowest levels of our Party should be brought back on board.
Let us float together and BREAK THE 8 or we sink into a perpetual political oblivion.
I don't think you want it that way.
