Hon. Fordjour made this comment in an interview with Odoom Prince Linford of Nkwa Fm after he visited the bridge at Assin Anyinabrim as the rain washed away the bridge making it very hard for residents especially students and farmers to cross to the other side of the road.
He said the initial design the contractor did was very poor and that has resulted in this big problem....

He again called on the contractor on the Assin Homaho - Domeabra road to also come to site as early as possible. He said we are in disaster time so every engineer should move their various offices and go to the field and work for the betterment of the resident in the community.

The Member of Parliament finally pleaded with the people of Assin Anyinabrim, Assin Homaho and Domeabra to calm down and exercise a little patience for the inconveniences the damage bridges have caused. He assured that he do everything within his power to see the bridges fixed as early as possible.
