On Saturday, 5th March 2022, my hardworking Deputy Minister in charge of General Education, Hon. Rev. John Ntim-Fordjour represented me at the 70th anniversary and speech and prize giving day of Fijai Senior High School.
The colourful ceremony was under the theme: "7 Decades of Holistic Education Through Thick and Thin".
In fulfillment of Government’s plan to bring a STEM school to a community near you, he represented me as Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia cut the sod for the construction of the Esikado 21st century school later today.
Government is committed to strengthening the education sector in accordance with the Education Strategic Plan 2018-2030 which targets a 60% enrollment of students in tertiary education enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines
